Ya. The flow back happened to me. I don’t think it will happen again. But you may be getting on the back side of it.... Just be ready to spend 2x what they tell you and you won’t be disappointed.. mine was 3x..

If you can tough it out commuting and build enough experience, you may find working at a company with true home basing like ATI, Omni, Kalitta, Western Global, etc to be a good fit.

Only during the 1811-1812 New Madrid, Mo. series of earthquakes. Strong enough to ring the church bells in Boston.

During one of those, I was flying my Cessna 172 to land at Col. Lambert’s field. That grass on the runway was moving so fast, I thought it was waving at me.

This isn’t going to be popular again but the flow exists to keep the regional in existence. I’m sorry if some people don’t want to except that. I know everyone says retirement numbers are what they are but they’ve metered it from the beginning. That should tell you something about their intentions.

Yes I remember back in my day all of those mainline captains involuntarily displacing Eagle Captains. Or even the deal that Republic signed with USAir to let them come in and get Captain jobs.
