Default A regional airline to look at?

(Part 141) Im currently working to get my CFI [have my Pvt, Inst, Mel, Com] and I'm just trying to find out which regional airline I should choose. I have very little knowledge on what to look for and what to watch out for, in the part 121 world. I looking for job security, industry standard livable life, upgrade times & how well employees get treated. Any type of help would be amazing as I know very little on terms & general knowledge of working for a 121 operater.

Do any regionals have a crew base within 2 hour drive from where you live?

Or somewhere you'd like to live.

Except that yesterday's dogs can become tomorrow's treasures. And vice versa.

It's the regionals.

Are you out of work? Need a paycheck? Need to show you are flying something of commercial value?
Todays turd can be tomorrows turd, but a turd that saved your career and kept a roof over your head.

Every regional is a set of compromises

I think the simplest filter right now is look at who has recently lost contracts. Don’t go there. Among the rest, pick a flavor.

Pick a flavor... Times are really good when you can "pick" an airline...

www.pilotdomiciles.com is a good resource for where Regionals are located.

Living in Base is a huge boost to Quality Of Life.

A two hour car drive to base beats any jet commute.

Yep. They are. (Although they would be really good if there were truly desirable career destination regionals)
