If you're flying the CRJ, just about any headset will do...I'd really only be concerned if you're in the Jungle-Jet - we actually have to worry about our hearing LoL

BTW, I got the Sennheiser over-the-ear ANR...Something like the HMEC-25KAS I think?? Anywho, it works great, even in the EMB.

Did you try a search on any of the at least three forums you frequent? I'm pretty sure, positive actually, that this has been discussed at length on all of them. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, just trying to be helpful.

Lightspeed Mach 1.c with the custom earmolds.... works great in the ERJ for me, even better than my Bose.

I recently purchased the Mach 1 and after going through two of them (neither worked properly out of the box) I just asked for a refund. Nothing like the good old David Clarks. Haha

Uhhh wait a minute here,

Dey iz payin you a measly 20 somethin bucks an hour to fly that CRJ AND they expect you to provide your own headsets?

They are on crack. And you are too if you are really going to pay for that.

Then I can always stick with my Neat and Bulky David Clarks which I so love!

And own my own pair since being a student.

My vote is for the Telex 850. I use them now in the Citation, and wish that they had made them back when I first started flying the CRJ.
