Flying out west

Flying out west is pretty cool. In the deserts you have to worry about high winds and pretty violent airmass t-storms, but the views are incredible. The northwest is stunning too but has a lot of low vis. The airports are pretty easy to get in and out from except SEA and SFO, but especially SEA. If there’s a napkin floating around a taxiway there you can expect a 2 hour ground stop into SEA.

I flew into Teterboro once and those controllers play for keeps. Heard two phone numbers handed out in like an 8 minutes span on descent.

DANDY and WENTZ at 1500. TEB is not hard, pilots just forget to brief things.
