I’m somewhat surprised that Delta hubs are still a tough commute from MEM; is that still due to removal of the Pinnacle/NWA base?

I too am living in MEM and looking to get back into flying (no prior 121, previously corporate). We would eventually move but it may not be easy to do so for a couple of years. Our eventual preference would be for the upper Midwest.

I’ve checked on frequency of flights to ORD, MSP, IAH, NY, DC, etc, but cannot infer availability of space for commuting. In general terms (besides not commuting), is it possible to determine what major bases may be best commutable?

Thank you!
You will likely be reserve for sometime , so even if today there was an option with a bunch of MEM overnights it all could change at the regional world. Nearly impossible to plan on, other than plan you wont have much control. Bidding for specific trips is even tough until you have a ton of seniority and off reserve. Basically expect QOL at any regional to be minimal.
