COVID-19 Concessions
Just wanted to see if airlines have started coming to the pilot groups for concessions of any kind.

A *common* consensus among major pilots who lived through it last time is don't give concessions because that will just be used as a lower set-point when they file BK... better to lose 40% of 100%, rather than 40% of 60%.
Apparently there's no legal mechanism for a "snap-back" provision which would survive a BK filing... courts will only care what your pay was going in, they won't care how you got there. |

SkyWest accepted a reduced monthly guarantee in exchange for a 50 hour paid leave program and a suspension of the reliability requirements for a very broad range of COVID-19 related issues, among a few other things. I'm sure every airline is in negotiations with their unions about how to handle this situation.

9E wanted a delayed bid for April. In return, we got pay/occurrence protection for many COVID-19 related absences.

Envoy MEC says we should just fly, fly, fly and let them change our schedules as they see fit. We are to just accept it and move forward because it isn’t their fault.
