Hired in Feb, held a hard line(no reserve) for the past 2 bids. Fly a three day starting saturday and then off until the 20th.

Picked up open time over the weekend and got a 4 day @ double rate with overnights in Vail, Durango, and Jackson Hole. Will be volunteering on my week off.

Guess the experience varies by the person and airframe, but so far this is pretty enjoyable.

Well, I can say we have different interest because I like to go home and see my wife, family, and friends. If your single or want to lose all the for mentioned then it might be great for me too. When your only getting 8-10 days off a bid I can't imagine picking up extra trips. I guess when I only had 1000 hours though I was doing the same thing...just not at the airlines. As far as holding hard lines goes, most of the junior line holders have way worse schedules than the RSV's at AMW. Hence the reason that about a third of our RSV CA's could hold a line on the CRJ....note I didn't say the 1900. They choose not to go over to Mesa because it isn't very smart to jump from the pot to the water.
However, I am glad someone likes it because that leaves more quality jobs for those of us that enjoy the time hanging out with family and partying with friends....I need my vacation's
