I have had nothing but good QOL here. I upgraded in 15 months, Never had less than 16-18 days off a month, Allways 90+ hrs a month, with pay credit of 100-110hrs. Home 4 days a week, and colgan has helped me travel to work if there has been a problem with weather. Everyone has a diffent experiance. Mine has been good. Got interviews with Southwest, and Continental coming up soon. Im 26 years old, and loving life. Good luck to eveyone.

Colgan may work for you if you live near one of their bases. Keep in mind though outstation basing probably won't be around much longer. Pittsburg, Newark, Albany, LGA, and IAD (maybe PVD or Charleston WV) are the bases of the future. Sorry, can't cite my sources. It has nothing to do with being hard vs. soft, it's more about intelligence and risk vs. reward. How much return are you going to get on investing your time in the company, and is it more or less then if you went to another company. Only you can answer that question, goodluck!
Just FYI, whenever someone leaves for some place else, I always ask them is the grass greener on the other side. I have yet to be told no, it's great motivation. |
