I have a ANR and a standard D. Clark.
Its not too bad up front, I'd wear your ANR's just to avoid damage due to prolonged exposure. The normal DC's should work fine though. My 2 cents. I wear my finally paid off Bose. I plan on buying some of those ear muffs you use when target shooting for when I do my walk arounds. normal ear plugs suck.

the schedules will build character, especially out in the california system. having said that, 8 legs a day thru cali ain't so bad, just ask those guys who do it out of say Bos, CLE, PIT, CLT, etc. whether they would trade places in a heartbeat.

You're the only pilot that I know of who has said the Bro is not a fun a/c to fly. I loved my time on the Bro, yes it's a switch b1tch but you're more of a pilot on the Bro than the CRJ. I'm now on the RJ and I enjoy it but the Bro's a great a/c that deserves respect.

Have fun with the EMB-120 - I just got out of the 145 and start class on the CRJ with SKW on Monday...I've done many SIX leg days in the Jet. Tiring - a resounding YES, but a LOT of fun. There's nothing like the up and down and HAND FLYING.

You're gonna Love it!
