The rollaboard

Trying to decide between the Purdy Neat Stealth 22 (269.95) and the travelpro 22 (119.95). Should I just save the money and get the travel pro or is there something drastically better about the stealth?

Same question for the purdy neat flight case, 300 bucks, vs. the ballistic flight case, which is 150 bucks.

Purdy neat is the best. Good contruction and rolls like a jem.

Purdy Neat are Pretty neat bags. Like a tank, someone said. HOWEVER, they are heavy as one too!!! That's the only downside.

Make sure you get the metal frame.. wife bought me the "strong abs plastic" version... turns out, not so strong. Lightweight, but already have a crack on the bottom.

I tried the TravelPro version of that. The top plastic (where the hook is attached for your "Lunchbox") cracked, and gave in after awhile .

Purdy neat things. Accept no substitute. Mine is 6 years old and is going strong.

Get the PN Stealth. The metal frame will really come in handy on your day off when you're kicking back enjoying a frosty instead shopping for a replacement bag for your next trip, and taking your broken unit to the store for repairs.

If you can't get the best, get the worst...and throw it away when it breaks. If you get something middle-of-the-road it will still break but it's too expensive to sh*t-can so you will have to get an extra rollaboard to use when your regular rollaboard is in the shop for repairs (about twice a year).

I am curious about the flight case too. I wonder if that ballistic nylon will wear better than the leather.

The leather ones can last for decades. I would assume the nylon ones would too, so compare prices. But you can't put cool stickers on nylon.
