What A/C to expect when applying to SkyWest

I know that SkyWest is hiring quite a bit these days and I just wanted to know if anyone knew what the ratios were in new aircraft assignments. I'm definitely interested in applying there after all the negative things I keep hearing here at ASA. It is a little scary, but who knows...its the airlines right?

If you've been flying the RJ at ASA, you will be assigned the jet at SKW.....

If you have 121 time, you will almost certainly get the jet. If you wanted the bro for some reason (like right seat prep for a fast upgrade) you should ask them when they hire you, they might let have it.

3 classes a month, 2 RJ and 1 bro. So there you have.

I got the Bro just a few days ago. I had a few hundred PIC turbine in the King Air but no 121.

I started on May 7th. I had 1500 and 1200 Turbine in King AIrs and Beech 1900s. I got the jet and there were only 25 in my class. They wanted 40 but couldn't find enough "qualified" candidates. Theres a CRJ class starting on Monday with only 18 in it! If they want classes of 40 qualified pilots they might have to change their compensation package.

Whats the difference between a SkyWest FO and a pizza????

A pizza can feed a family
