Makes sense, but...crap. Oh well, my social is 0XXX, so that'll be good if I get on there. Thanks everyone for the input.

That's the only way you learn, by asking questions. Keep doing what you do, you'll make it there one day

SAAB, you obviously didn't have to work the Ramp at the station I did!!

Pilot group was awesome, but it would have required a 6-month commitment at the station I was at, which I was NOT willing to do :-)

Being a ramper is a great idea if you want to work at SKW. I haven't meet a person that went that route who didn't get a pilot job. However, some did screw up the first time and had to reinterview. Has the tower at PVU helped, or are people still trying to kill each other down there?

Now the tower just tries to kill everybody. Instead of people trying to kill each other.

The tower just causes more radio congestion and makes people complacent and not vigilant for other traffic. What PVU needs is RADAR and violations for kamikaze college katanas.

That tower's funny...you'd think that they'd hire at least one or two patient controllers if they knew that they were going to be controlling a largely student-filled airspace. Man, those guys aren't the friendliest bunch.

You're right about the radar, though. I can't believe that we're not going to get the radar site at the point of the mountain, especially since it would be helping SLC out so much. Too bad. Thanks, Ms. Blakey...

Its SkyWest. The pilots aren't operating under a pilot contract either.
