I would recommend Strong Bags. I had one that lasted on a double leg commute for more than 7 years.

I checked out a strongbags and it's a nice bag but just a little less space than I'm used to. I tend to pack extra food in my roller so I like more space.

If it's space you want, give the LW Aurora a look. I haven't compared the insides to the traditional LW bags but sitting side by side with someone else's traditional LW, my Aurora looks like it carries significantly more. And it definitely carries more than my Briggs.

I’m trying to pick up an Aurora but both versions of the 22” are showing out of stock on the LW website. Anyone know how often they restock?
Edit: I just looked at Crew Outfitter’s website and they also show it out of stock. |
I have to admit, I hate LW bags. They are not worth the premium you pay for them. Everything from the worthless snap straps inside to rails. Just not happy with them and much preferred my Travel Pro roller.
That said, I think I will be checking out the Strongbag next go around. I have their cooler and it is amazing. |
Ditto on the Aurora, I'm not a die hard LW guy or anything but I've had zero issues with the plastic frame. I've been using Auroras for last 5 years and for the cost I can afford to replace twice as often even if I did have an issue. Also its like 10 less pounds to drag around the airport.

I would love to try strong bags, but I love the side pockets of my LW.

has anyone considered bags that do not scream "I am a crew member" ? Just to blend in more, especially nonreving or while in public ?

Sort of like how during a break an FA called my aviator glasses “so cliche.” I politely informed her that aviator glasses are excellent for....aviating. |
