He is one of the nicest guys you can meet, and I guarantee he would have de-escalated or left had that been an option. Not saying everyone should be expecting random attacks on the light rail, but it did indeed happen.

When I wrote that the truth matters it was a rebuttal to the false assertion that one is in danger wearing a pilot’s uniform while commuting on the light rail. That’s simply not true.
