Big Sky, Springfield Shut Down
 

The promising Springfield domicile that Big Sky opened up less than a year ago is gone. This come as a surprise to anyone?

So, I am sitting in the Delta terminal in BOS, just inside security and these two pilots walk by. Big Sky pilots. I, personally hate the hats we wear, so not big deal when one was not wearing a hat, but the other was wearing a baseball cap. Looked like a big smuck. What a loser.

Was it a (dirty, stinking, rotten, I'm so gald they're 10 games back) Yankees' Cap?

While i dont like the thought of seeing that either, i see it as no worse than the pretty boy with his hair all slick, some aviators and his ipod (throw in a goofy @ss mustache for good measure) strolling through the terminal either.

If you had stand up overnights 4 nights in a row, couldn't afford a crash pad in Boston, and had to sleep in the crew lounge during the day... you'd probably be wearing a baseball hat too. Personally, I could give a sh*t how pilots look... if they are treated like trash, they should dress however the hell they want. Funny how one of the most successful companies out there (Google), allows their employees to dress like clowns. Not that Big Sky is a successful company, far from it... but a baseball hat worn by one employee does not deserve this much hype!

the baseball cap is approved headwear. so ****. it was probably me. I wear mine all the time. You need to get a life.

I've lived in SPI for almost 20 years, and it's no surprise to me. We've lost as many airlines as we've gained (except for SKW at present), so I was quite surprised that someone would want to create a domicile here. A sad situation, but one that's all too familiar in these parts.

In full uniform, in the middle of the terminal?
