Back years ago when I used to backpack through Europe, I'd do 4 day underwear. Normal, spin it, flip it inside out, spin it. Alas... I doubt my wife would go for that now.

Easy, two pairs of quick dry. Wash one every night. Or just buy $10 of new underwear as needed.

You might have problem taking your crew size bag inside a European airline. But it might work by playing the crew card.
If you know you can make it on you can totally check a bag and it works just fine
