Land and Hold Short
 
this is pretty old, but i don't think i have seen it on here. if you have seen it then sorry, if not enjoy.

oh yeah.... before landing checklist.

landing gear down and 3 green
flaps 45
thrustreversers armed
parking brake off.

Wow... Cool pix. I'm glad I didn't do it. I can't believe the pic of the wheel ground down to the brakes.

Seriously though, story I heard was that the CVR had the guys screwing around, pretending the parking brake handle "dropped the bombs". If thats true, nice one guys:rolleyes:

Im pretty sure that cost someone, if not both pilots their job. Unless it was mechanical of course.

IIRC, that was Mid-Atlantic a few years ago and it was a parking brake malfunction (or the brake hydrualics malfunctioned and behaved like a parking brake).
