Just asking
How do you know it’s a low life operation if they’re not even flying yet?
Wasn’t Southwest a start up, as well as JetBlue and Breeze? What about Spirit and Allegiant? I know nothing about them but it seems odd to harpoon another new startup. Is it because it’s turboprops? And finally ALPA is the reason all these regional jets at lower pay and conditions exist so please invoking ALPA into anything. |
Maybe try this

I don't know a damn thing about the airline, but stuff like that means I don't even need to investigate further. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck... It's because all of the things they're doing, like requiring a training bond, reek of a shady, low-life operation.

Cargo outfits
Like Amerijet etc AND 135 companies are requiring training bonds. Some regional as well particularly for the bonuses. Alpa carriers btw.
I say let’s give them a shot and not pass judgement until we see how they do then we can light up ole’ APC and bash them like everyone else. |
You will owe ALPA money even though you don’t want to be involved with them!

BASE COMPENSATIONAnnual Salaries are competitive with US Regional and Major Airlines operating similar aircraft.https://static.wixstatic.com/media/f...Chart_PNG.webp 12th year pay for a jet they don't have is lower than Spirit first year captain pay from 2018. |
Goodness. I make more than their 12yr CA as a 4th yr 737 FO
Good luck getting pilots. |
Be Careful
Cracks are starting to appear in the ice, pun intended. With all the opportunities out there right now, risking going to a turboprop upstart is just silly. You’d be waiting to see if it gets off the ground while watching seniority go by just about anywhere else. I honestly would advise against it. It’s just not worth it right now.

Both their aircraft pay F/O's less than what they can earn at a Fractional like NetJets, and maybe Flexjet. I know at NJA F/O's make $90K and if they hustle they can make $150K 1st year.
