The 1500 they have on the furloughed XJT list they have to call before they hire off the street. Not that many of those will go back but enough might. There were a lot of SR guys towards the last 5ish years of work that would go back to top pay and benefits.

There are plenty of guys near retirement who were doing pretty well that would probably go back. More than you think. In fact that was a big reason the company did not survive. Contract payed really well when you got some years in. XJT will not hurt for pilots for some time if they are able to grow.

oh I know, I was there. I also had a buddy that I went to flight school with back in ‘05 that was still there. He went back to Aha with sen and pay. Hard to say no to that, especially if you are near the end.
