Just curious.
It's both. They do group interviews in a different cities, you can always wait until they come to a town near you if you're not in a hurry (the schedule is on the website). You don't need an invite, you can just show up.

The group interview is part presentation and part interview. They will talk to you maybe briefly, maybe at length and may do full HR and technical interviews and written tests. You will likely be invited to complete the interview in SLC, probably sooner rather than later.

Wear a suit and be 100% prepared for an interview (they will not do the sim until you go to SLC however).

I went to a group interview and they just did a quick powepoint presentation and looked at our resumes and did a quick HR interview.

If they like what they see they'll invite you to SLC. I was invited to SLC that day. I accepted their invite and went the next week.

Good luck

Default July 9th

Trying to get in it, I finish up my present job on the 7th, but it looks like they want our interviewing class in the EMB.

Take the bro. You can upgrade in about a year (less if you have turbine time), and apply to SWA about a year after that (with a decent chance of getting called).

Then you can work out your SJS on a brand-new 737-700.

I agree. I took the jet with around 1500 hours. The way things are going I'll be able to upgrade in the bro long before I have the TT (2500). I'll be stuck with the delimma at 14 months with the company of upgrading to a plane I've never flown or waiting another 6 months to hold the jet. 6 months could be as much as 500 PIC turbine hours.

Also, if you take the Bro you will be able to fly more than the 100 hours/month the jet guys are limited to. If I was in the Bro I'd probably be a Captain right at the 1 year mark.

Good Luck! They're both cool airplanes
