For Republic, I’m not sure about interview, but indoc to LOE is about 90ish days? Last I heard LOE to IOE is about 3 weeks and there’s no delay in training. Approximately 110 or so days in total.

Just as impressed as you, our new director of training whipped it into shape we have 40 plus LCPs for 500 plus pilots, and there was a an ioe delay of 4 months when I came now you have 7-10 days off max before IOE l

I can verify this is pretty close but it depends. One class can take 90 plus days to get through sims so if you are at the front of the line vs the rear can make 90 days difference here. As it stands there are multiple massive delays.

News flash, any new hire will be at the back of the line.

I was referring to the position within your class that you get called back for sims, which at Mesa is for some reason not done according to seniority. It’s literally luck of the draw. And the training department is moving so slowly that something as benign as that can make a difference of 30, 60 or more days on when you finish training. It’s that friggin bad.

It is really unfortunate how slow it is going at Mesa and there is not much indication management is doing much to try and fix it. Not even all September hires are in flat panels yet and I wouldn't be surprised to see people having legit 10-12 month training footprints. I'm sure the paid vacation is nice but it's a bit much when recruiters were telling people it was only to be a few month delay.

Oh they are trying they just can’t stay ahead of anything. They just announced a very nice part time instructor package that should make a difference there (a year too late). But now they are short LCA like the rest of the industry was a year ago. They can’t seem to see problems coming until they are big problems then they just wait to see if they magically fix themselves for a few months. Then they do a fraction of what they should do to address the problem to see if it makes a difference. They are moving at a snail’s pace to correct issues that require decisive, aggressive action in today’s environment.

You think it’s trending down because the training department out of nowhere got their $hit together,
or because the lack of applicants applying to an absolute dumpster fire operation?

I’m sure they did. It’s easy when you go from training 50 a month to 15.

This is a perfect summary of what this incredibly incompetent management does with literally every problem.
