This always makes me laugh. I wonder if anyone has talked to EWR Tower or NYC Tracon. They rarely give you a break on departures off of 29. What happens when the winds don't allow this? Arrivals to 29 provide no relief when landing on 22L. Flew out of EWR for 7 yrs and ATC just isn't willing to work this angle very often, much less every day and every bank of departures. This will be the usual EWR Cluster F&*%. The only people that win are the bean counters and as usual the pax lose.

This forum always gives me a chuckle. Losing the Q has about as much validity as the forum stating the US Airlink and Colgan pilots would merge into one pilot group. HA! That was against the business plan, joining the two pilot groups would not be possible with two seperate companies! Duh!
As for problems with the Q launching out of ERW, it is ATC's job to expedite departures as effecient as possible especially when an airline is dedicated to that runway. Basically some folks on here worry to much about things they have no control over. Go fishing or hunting. I can't believe I wasted my time with this BS, but figured some of you needed a wake up call. Also, most of you guys are great, just a few are tools. Adios. Moose |
