I've heard it's usually 3-5 days but can be as long as a week. Good Luck, if you don't hear from them today then my guess would be Monday at the latest.

It might be a longer wait now that they have slowed down the hiring to only one class a month. They're pretty inconsistant about how soon they call back. I interviewed back in March, got a call the next day, and was in Cincinnati a week later for class. I've also heard of people waiting 2 weeks for a call.

We were told that if hired, we could expect a class date within the August time frame. Just getting a bit nervous, I live in Cincy, so this would be ideal for me.

They did tell you that you would go to JFK. right? New-hires are not getting cvg.

Ya, I know about that, but the potential to come back to Cincy is one of the bigger lures for me. I dont mind sitting reserve for a year or so at JFK as long as I can come back.

I heard on day 7.

We were told JFK a couple weeks ago. But, vacancy awards came out yesterday. I'm not even to the sim yet and I got CVG. Don't know how soon though.

Default Comair callback time

When they hired me last week, I was lucky enough to be notified that day because I had interviewed off site a week prior and was in CVG just for the cog test. The other 5 guys interviewing were told 5-7 days and I know that one of them heard back in a few days. I think they're not in a huge hurry right now because the 7/30 class just filled and they're filling for 8/27. I wouldn't sweat it yet.

They said that things were expected to shake up a bit due to the closure of Orlando and Greensboro. The captain handling interviews said hiring slows down in the summer and often they end up panicking and adding additional class dates.

They said that everyone is assigned JFK from day one, but it could change at any time. The extra $1,000 per diem during training will be helpful.

Good luck. Hope to see you 8/27.
