Angry It was you

You built a misleading, and 100% inaccurate, profile on APC. You did it to trick people and it failed. Whomever FTF is did you a lot of harm with those rants. You were given great advice to fix it and you could have on the forum but chose not too and now your backpedaling on the whole thing.

You and FTF have done so much damage to your reputation and chose that path yourselves. Between your website, other sites, and here, no one knows what to believe and in fact, no one believes you anymore. Again, YOU did this, no one did it to you.

The profile needs to be removed ASAP as it is a blatant lie PERIOD. Another company, will remain nameless but it’s SOUTHERN by nature, had all it’s info pulled and so should you.

You and FTF ought to be ashamed of yourselves. You’ve embarrassed yourselves, your company and the industry as a whole with your behaviour. It’s shameful and will, if not already, come back on you.

Why the locking of thread, and why do you want to remove the apc profile. Genuinely curious. You say they are misleading about pilot pay.... How?

Read through the main thread for info on why their profile needs to be updated or removed. Their claims are false and their compensation numbers reflect unrealistic requirements that 99% of DECs will not be able to achieve.

I don’t agree with locking the thread, but he is right about the information being inaccurate and misleading. Seems like a pretty sleazy tactic to recruit pilots.

I’ve learned throughout my career that non-pilot recruited really don’t know the lies they’re selling. General HR has no clue about the reality of most things day time day to pilot. They’re just towing the party line from their superiors. It’s true for all they know.

I tend to agree with that.

Angry Exception

Is that if they do know, because they were told the truth but then told to lie about it. I think WMrecruiter has known all along, FTF as well. It was a gimimick to get people to apply and then you find out the truth. They are not the only ones granted but the profile and forum, that was pulled and the second one closed, was downright blatant. From what I have gathered, they are struggling in more ways than one. Those flightaware posts show it. I also do not believe the pay is 250,000$ a year. In addition, it has been over a year with lots of drama and they STILL do not have a certificate. Sometimes the obvious just stares at you right in the face.

If the forums got yanked, why not the profile which is the worst of it?

Angry Update

https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N881WM

The only aircraft flying has not flown in two weeks now and still no AOC. Something again must have happened. That profile was updated on Sept 6th but the airline isn’t operating.

I think it’s fair to say at this point that is has failed. I too think the profile should be removed as this company is not operating. APC is better than that. AirBahn was taken down pretty quickly which was the right thing to do. Why not put Avatar airlines on here then?

Pilot’s should not be scammed on APC.

There’s plenty of “dead airlines” that still have profiles. Great Lakes is one. I went through and flagged them via email a while back- nothing changed.

Default Good point

APC can do better, a much better job with these companies. Just take them off. Pretty simple. Not sure why these companies are still on here. In the very least put a disclaimer on, “Currently not operating”.

Default And there’s this

https://www.smh.com.au/business/companies/virgin-australia-second-in-command-john-thomas-departs-after-less-than-a-year-20170629-gx1m6u.html

69 million is a lot of money for an airline to lose Fair Dinkum.

Yikes
