or it'll attract people who didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money to make sub 40k a year with crap QOL. The money was always there, the carriers were banking it instead.
it'll take time to get those people in the door though. |

Not mentioned anywhere in the article: while regional pilot pay has been poverty level to this point, incommensurate with the technical labor provided, the newfound ability of regional pilots to feed themselves may result in some hypothetical service drawbacks to obscure communities
