In the month of June, I was CMH-based and didn't RSV a single day in my base. They must really need people there...
Surprisingly, BUF is the junior base for FOs right now.

CMH is one of those "chosen" bases because they can stack flying from all 5 codeshares on the 145 there. It basically lets them move any crewmember anywhere around in the system the need too. Plus, with every upgrade class they usually pull 3-4 FO's outta there so you're always moving up in base. Now...for FA's and CA's....it's pretty senior.

I'm here in CMH, and I'd agree that it is pretty junior. I had a line last month. This month back on reserve. Doesn't matter much to me because I got all the days off I want and I live here. The rumor is that with the next contract will come more centralized "hub" basing, involving the closing of a lot of these outstation bases. I don't imagine CMH is going anywhere since we have such a big Maintenance base here.

When I finish up training in September, I was thinking of bidding the following:
1. RIC
2. GSO
3. SDF
4. IND

Any + or - with these bases?

How many departures does CHQ have every day out of RIC and GSO? I've noticed both on my schedule quite a bit more at AWAC recently for turns and overnights...as well as LGA...

IIRC, CHQ is getting out of the USAir flying as RW takes delivery of more 175's. The ERJ's are being transferred over to CAL flying primarily.

But CHQ has 9 145s left in the Airways system, right? Are you guys getting rid of those last 9 (and totally out of 50 seat USX feed) as more 175s are delivered?

The plan is to eventually get out of the 50-seat market altogether.

Well aren't you screwed then, not being qualified for the "widebody" and everything...

Seriously though, are those 9 USX planes going away anytime soon?
