Default Invite etiquette

Got invited to interview. I responded saying I had open availability and I'm flexible. Crickets ten days and counting. How long do I wait to re-ping?

I wouldn't have waited 10 days. Especially in this market.

You mean the market lacking captains which causes a log jam of FOs? Considering I'm not actually at minimums I'm not sure why it would matter if I hadn't waited. Insightful though, thanks!

some advice. Ask in the company page you’re try to go to rather than the general section. They may have more insight into how the interview process and recruitment goes. Might be standard to no hear back, your recruiter could be on vacation. Being cleared for an interview might move you from one folder to another. In any case if it’s been more than 4 weeks since your response id reach out.

Ten days isn't that long.

I've had responses that ranged from a few minutes, to eight years.

Admittedly, the eight years was a bit long, but then, it was a good job.

That's just me. In this market, if someone invites you to interview I'd jump.

But whatever
