I have heard Singapore girls are exceptional. Of course, out of the USA you can do things like give public beatings to FA's if they fail a weight check, etc.

I got hired at Comair in the mid 90's. Back then, they selected the flight attendants. It was done by someone that had an appreciation for the image of the airline and what our passengers saw. I'd say that 80% were what I'd consider very good looking.

Nowadays, they take what they can get because word is out that you're gone twice as much as a normal job, but at the same or less pay. The percentage is not just reversed, but an honest opinion is that we have 5-10% of our FA's that are very good looking.

We have something similar to the 3 G's here at Comair:

50/50/Gay = Over 50 / 50lbs overweight / Gay

I won't lie to ya'll though - on day one of a four-day, I may meet the F/A and think eek! But by the end of day three or early day four, I'll tell ya even she's starting to look pretty good. HAHA...
