There is both the ERJ and SAAB out of LAX. The ERJ is very senior and may take a couple years to hold. The SAAB is junior and with them letting you pick your base you can get the SAAB right away. There are currently 37 FO's in LAX but there are about 9 more in training right now. Also, there is a rumor about the SAABS leaving the company. I will believe it when I see it. Would I be surprised? No, they are old and the lavs smell like Beef Jerkey. the B pluses will be gone by the end of the year and we will have all the B's from the desert. You can tell them due to they are semi clean.
I am out of LAX and I like it a lot. The crews, and locations are great. Well, minus FAT. If you need any other info let me know.

Is the rumor to replace the SAABS with another turboprop or just get rid of them?
