Skywest is pretty big out there. Eagle has LAX. There's plenty of information on the boards if you search a little.

West coast bases (including OR & WA) are usually very senior. But normally only folks who already live there can afford the larger towns...so a company that suddenly opens a west coast base may have it go junior for a while.

Horizon, SKW, and Eagle are the big regional players. XJet has just opened an LAX base (DCI) and an ONT base (branded flying). LAX should be fairely safe, but ONT may only last as long as the branded flying which is a crapshoot at this point.

Well as of lately our branded loads have been around 70-85%..................its doing very well, and for a new guys if ONT is not "safe" because of the branded, well he along with 100's of other guys would be out of a job..................not just a base, it wouldn't just effect the ONT pilots only

We've still got a few routes that are running pretty thin as of now, but hopefully they'll take care of that soon by either reducing frequencies or cutting the routes all together. All in all... seems like branded is holding it's own out here.
