I believe it that PHL is that bad.... Growing up in Philly, I always flew out of there and my whole life I thought all airports/airlines were like that, or that USair just sucked......... It is a horrible airport... ever waited in the security line?

I used to live in ATL and that airport is terrible specially if the weather is bad. No wonder ASA has such a bad record. Never been to PHL but I can imagine the waits.... OUCH.

Comairs record is not steller either, but hey people need to go out of those busy airports (JFK) It sucks bc it is not their fault.... PHL security line can be hours sometimes...... HOURS! It wraps around all the way to the parking garage and BACK. I think CVG is a pretty efficient airport, never been delayed there

That info is over a year old. Find and post the new data, much more helpful.

looking at how good an airline is by its percentage of delayed flights is like trying to say a pitcher who has a 10-20 record sucks even though his ERA is 2.10. (For all you people who are not a sports fan sorry you won't get this) JFK and LGA should be blown off the face of the earth, would save a lot of problems in the world of Air Traffic Control. Atlanta sucks but not only is it the busiest airport in the world, only Chicago comes close to the amount of traffic that comes there....in the entire world. ASA deals with the same crap day in and day out. I met ASA pilots before. They are great guys, like most other pilots.

I flew with a captain that even had diagrams and plans for his solution to solve NY's airspace. His plan was to wipe out Staten Island (because after all, what use does it serve?) and make one gigantic airport, and get rid of EWR, LGA, JFK. That way there wouldn't be such huge airspace problems and all. SWF and ISP would be the satellite airports in his grand plan. Not a bad idea, but would never ever happen.
