American flyers always does their CFII initial then the CFI-A. I'm going to the Aug. 9 class in Addison, TX and staying with some friends for the 30 days. Should be fun! Where are you taking the class?

It would be worth the drive to be in that area and not Texas.
I was born down there in Hollywood.

Believe me, I thought about it. There is one major problem if I go to Lauderdale; I wont have a car.

Going to Texas, I'll have a car to use and it's a straight 15 minute drive. I sure do miss Lauderdale (grew up in davie to be exact). One of the many reasons I want to get on with AAL in several years and be based in MIA. I just flat out miss it down there!
