Can never let anything rest. I'm sitting here watching TV and CNN is running a special on TWA 800 and "what really happened." It's been 11 years, let the families and friends of those who lost live their lives in peace. Stop bring all the "conspiracy theories" back to the surface. Sorry, end of rant.

End of rant accepted. I guess you'd rather see two hours, back to back, of Larry King Live, weekend edition I think this show first aired about three years ago. Must be a slow news day.

I started to watch it, thinking it would be something worth watching on airline history, figured out what it was and promptly switched over to another channel. I flew TWA once in 1997, it was probably one of the best flights I have been on.

This was a new one that or they did some editing to it. They talked about the new technology that Boeing is putting in the 787 that was "recently unveiled" to prevent a spark from reaching the fuel tanks.

FWIW, I was jumpseating on an AA flight a few weeks back and the CA was ex-TWA. I asked him what the general consensus was about 800 and he said "bomb of missile."
