I fly for Mesaba and have jumpseated on NW mainline 3 or 4 times now with absolutely no problem. In fact the other day, I jumpsteated LGA-MSP with an AWAC guy. Interestingly, we both sat in the back as Mr. Doug Steenland (I think thats how you spell it) rode in the jumpseat. He was on the Today Show that morning and probably didn't want to face pax in the back. I have never actually jumpseated on one of my own flights, but I don't think it would be a problem unless weight-restricted.

The very few flight I have been on with all NWA/Express flights was very easy and they were all accommodating. Thanks guys and gals for helping me commute 1800+ miles to work every week!

I'm sure Steeland didn't want to be on that flight. Either place he sat he was pretty much surrounded by people who hate him.

I would like to jumpseat from MSP to Regina, Sascathewan. What is Mesaba's policy on a jumpseat to Canada?

I am also an AWAC guy.....I take them all the time to and from MSP-PHL and never had a problem. The crews are great and welcome us on board.

You cannot occupy the flight deck jumpseat on an international flight on Mesaba. If there is a cabin seat available, we will welcome you with open arms.
