Go to www.ccsmax.com and look for the limitations page and memorize that too. That'll give you a huge leg up.

Here is my suggestion. Study Limitations, CA and FO flows, Expanded Checklist (VOL.1), then make flash cards for limitations and the tests durring your flows ie. Ice test, Fire Det Test...
Good Luck
PS- there will be lots of folks at training with different amounts of experience. DO NOT let them try to get you to go out and party or drink durring ground school. The party starts AFTER you pass your Type ride and IOE.

I just did my last trip with Mesa, and have the next 6 days to be ready for XJT. I have over 850 hours in the ERJ, but am taking nothing for granted. I'm still going to work hard and let the others do the partying.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Your prior 121, training will be a breeze, dont kill yourself, study and know what you need to know, but no harm in going out and getting a few beers with your training buds..............

I have a lot more time than that, but just want to yield on the side of caution.

My experience switching airlines (but staying in the same airplane) was that the procedures were just different enough to create confusion. You can already fly the airplane, and you probably remember the systems but you will have to emphasize the flows and profiles in your study plan.

Excellent. That's pretty much my assessment of it all at this point. The flows are a little different, so that's something new to get used to. And we didn't have the XR, so there's a few more limitations. Nothing to get too excited, but just want to be prepared.
Thanks.
Thanks.
You won't have any problems, your buddy probably thought that he was guaranteed to pass or something. Hit it hard at first until you get the feel for the new training program. Once you know what you're up against you'll be able to relax.
