The definition of irony is when somebody completely misses the blatant sarcasm in a statement, and accuses the source of said sarcasm to be an idiot. :D |

Given that Bedford has said he wants to fly 190s, this may have been what the CA was talking about. |

8:1 duty rig, is that good? The way I understand duty rigs, you are paid 1 hour for every 8 that you are on duty. That sucks!

ChinookDriver47 we don't have duty/trip rigs. It's what we're arguing for but we have no idea how things are going as of yet.
as far as I understand, good ole GS isnt even looking to try and negotiate for Trip and Duty rigs, I cant understand this because if it were up to me, for the most part keep the contract the way it is, except work on language/definitions, cancellation pay, 170 rates and TRIP AND DUTY RIGS! i wouldnt mind keeping the same rates if we got a good trip and duty rig. More cash and better schedules. And god knows we need better schedules, I start a 9.5 hour 3 day tomorrow. WOO HOO! |

I'll put money down rigs will come up. Take a look on the union board at how many will shoot down anything without rigs in it. They could just fire Joe Cespedes and I'd call it even. It's up to them. He makes sure we get those nice 3+hr sits in CVG all the time so he can reassign the captains.
I would take that trade as well. The three hour sits are rediculous, we might as well just have "junior manning" because every captain I fly with gets reassigned at least once during a paring. Now I know that the airplanes have to fly to make money so that they can pay us and I understand reassignments sometimes just happen, but with these brilliant schedules its set up so they always have hot reserve captains and its total BS. Rigs and cancellation pay would fix a lot of that problem. |

That's not irony. Secondly people who don't work at RAH read this looking for info and might buy into your crap. It's unneeded.
