Default Republic Airlines Minimum Age

Hi all,

I was just wondering if RAH has a minimum age to hire a FO. I have an interview on Wed and I am currently only 20. I read somewhere on another site that you have to be 21. I was not able to find anyting about age on RAH's website. I'm just making sure that I'm not wasting my time.

Thanks

as long as you don't mind being a FO for 3 plus years regardless of what your seniority can hold

why do you want to have a job already at 20? Go to college and have a little fun first.

They know that you're 20 and still called you for an interview. What does that tell you?

When you're old enough to be a Captain, then you should have a jump on Captain's seniority even if someone upgraded before you as long as your date of initial hire was prior to theirs. Still sucks to be at FO pay for longer than you should. Then again, you're only 20 so you shouldn't have a problem surviving on peanuts for a while.

hope you already have a college degree, if not, you'll be working like a dog trying to get that degree to be competitive for the majors, and doing that wile you're living as an FO for the next 3 years. As they said though, you'll end up being a very senior FO by the time youre finally elligible for upgrade, which will make quality of life pretty good, plus republics pay isn't "terrible" by any means after 1st year. When you finally do upgrade to captain, who knows, you might not even have to sit reserve...but hey, that's 3 years in the future...another note, if you're a super-genius and already have your degree (first off, i feel bad for ya for missing out on all those 21+ night clubs) but...you'd be well on your way to making it to the big times well before 30.

just met a couple of UPS guys who are ex-chautauqua, and they're both 29 years old...seems like a great setup to me.
