Hey guys, thanks for all the info over the past weeks regarding Colgan. I just got the call yesterday with a job offer and I accepted it. I know there are the nay sayers on here but please refrain, I am aware of all the pro's and con's and made the descision based on my own situation. I respect the input from all over the previous posts and threads. All I can say is I am happy to begin training on Sept 24th. Met some nice people at LGA and hope to see them in training as well. With that said, how's PVD look for a 36 yearold to attain right out of sim?

Is there anybody else on here that will be attending the Sept 24th training class for Colgan?

I was curious as to why I couldn't get a call.

I'm trying to stay the course and upgrade here, but it's not easy. Some of the current Beech street captains are moving to the SAAB next month, even though there are so many SAAB and Beech FOs infront of them.

For instance, a beech street capt with one year in the left seat gets priority upgrade, out of senority, over a current SAAB or beech FO who can hold the upgrade with his/her senority number.

Good thing 51% of the Colgan pilot group fought to keep big, mean ALPA away from good ol' ma and pa Colgan

I think Colgan has new flow through program.. work here for a year then you can upgrade to any senority list at any regional you want!

HEY no need to knock the speedwagon! PVD is pretty senior, took me 4 months to get it, now that I have it have to say I am happy! Colgan has been good to me, I find that most like it however some don't. Try for PVD it is a good base with some great people, however all the bases I have been at have been nothing short of great, all in their own ways.
