damon, i like the way you think.
personally, i believe my company does this same type of thing in hopes of pleasing the hiring gods, and attracting more pilots. As the gods know we're doing nothing else to get the job done.

Problem is, the mechanics here would be too lazy to take this approach. I mean you'd have to gather wood, start the fire, find a goat, put the goat in the fire...
On top of all that, you probably have to delay boarding, which the company won't like. Something tells me DMI stickers will be around for a while before they start making ritualistic sacrifices around here.
