That doesn't mean squat pal. In a mili-second, some tool in atl can easily change that

Wasn't in in '04 or '05 that Mesaba was having a lot of trouble and people were waiting around for them to go under just to see them rebound? Not saying that will happen to Comair but the brinkmanship played by the owning airlines is awful.
I am not alone in hoping all works out well for the people of Comair.

Actually it was a little later than that, and they were doing the very same thing to Comair at the same time. It was during the DAL/NW BK. This time is really nothing like then.

I could only image how slow time must feel when waiting for such a big announcement. What a mess the regionals and majors have become. I hope some day while we are all at majors we can rid this industry of regional airlines. Good luck to you all, I hope the announcement is you're taking all of GoJetzzz planes!

I bet G7 is licking their chops like vultures circling above a crippled lamb..

They can have it. The one thing I hope that comes out in the media when Comair closes shop is that DL single handedly drove an excellent company into the ground over power, control, and more importantly $$$.

Check out William McGee "Attention All Passengers".. new novel just printed.. from airlines, whip - saw, inexperienced pilots.. Super good book

Word in the crewroom in DTW today is that the union is trying to call some ground breaking audible to save us. Something about some "progressive" new way to do business in the regional airline world.

Pretty much I have zero faith in our union! EJ is a egotistical blowhard who creams his pants to be a union guy! I understand why the Delta guys's voted for the new contract. No brainer! I have friend's there and to be honest I would have said yes. The regionals need to disappear in my opinion. Sucks from the victim side but I do not want to fly a CRJ the rest of my career!

But ALPA tends to forget who else they represent. They love to sell out the next guy. If we go down I blame ALPA! I would love to have a dues refund for the last 6 years. I don't even read the magazine! It literally goes into my trashcan after I pull it out of my mailbox! Total joke!

Personally I hate work for a union! Biggest sham ever no matter the industry!

Really I don't blame Delta one bit. Classic case of capitalism. If your the general contractor you want the bids of your subcontractor's to be cheap as possible so you make more money in the long run? It's called a business!

If this is indeed true, it will be a sad day when they operate the last Comair flight and shut the doors for good! I worked with lots of great people from Customer Service to the pilot group. I miss it sometimes and still hold a place for it. The last few years there we're not the best. Furloughs, down sizing, and fleet reductions, just made it unbearable to watch and work there. I'm still optimistic that things will get better, but with the word "Final" being used, I'm not to sure anymore. To those of you who are still there, keep up the fight!

Hey Bubba!! How's it hangin? Whatcha been up 2?
