When she told me to use the hotel's phone, i told her I wouldn't, because it was long distance and I wouldn't pay for it. She brought me a cordless phone with scheduling on the other line. I figured at that point they had me.

I felt bad because the CA (who accidentally answered his phone, thinking it was his wife) was sitting at the airport waiting for me to ferry the plane for about 2 hours, but I made them really work to get a hold of

Our contract requires your hotel room to have a door which can be locked.

Anyone see the bad news on epic today?

Vacancy Bid Canceled :(

saabguy493 06-23-2008 10:26 AM

What does that mean??? Hope it is not bad for new hires!!!

andy171773 06-23-2008 10:30 AM

They still say they need JRFs and C7Fs..so New hires should be fine

Just no upgrades

New VB supposedly issued soon (for FO slots only probably)

TristarJS30 06-23-2008 10:30 AM

Well, so much for the hope of upgrading in under 5 years. Great...

All that's required is majors to start hiring again, DL is project to hire at the end of the year. Hopefully this'll only be temporary.

As long as fuel is so high, corporate CEO's receive bonuses and astronomical pay for poor performance and airlines refuse to raise ticket prices... this will just continue.

They forgot to add "Congrats to the entire Comair team" and "We apologize for the inconvenience."

I guess we didn't get that "potential growth".

29 FOs who had upgrade classes will not be upgrading this time around. There's always next year.

Upgrade in November would have been down to 5 years. When the sorting is done we'll see how long upgrades will be now...

Sorry to hear that guys, this fuel mess is affecting everyone.
