Well SWA is allowed to ask someone of the flight, if they feel neccesary (contract of Carriage?) I think the bigger issue is the trend in the media to bash the airlines..............Im getting tired of it, why dont they do a story how the thousands of employees who they bash, took huge pay cuts and how there QOL has been all but destroyed, but no, they would rather put a trashy looking girl on tv so she can get her 15 minutes..............................

sorry, i'm still of the ilk that think you should be somewhat dressed up to fly. if you can't sit down and not pull a lindsay lohan, then you are impropperly dressed

Looks like SWA will end up getting sued over this one. What was the FA thinking? Maybe the F/A tapped her foot in the stall before the flight and didn't get a favorable reaction. I'm sure the pilots would have let her ride up front. Seriously, something seems fishy here.

Initially, I just wanted an apology but now I got a lawyer and I started to think it would be a great opportunity for some easy cash :rolleyes: Give me a break! Let it go girl! You don't "deserve" money for this. I can't believe someone would get a lawyer for this....well, actually I can. People are opportunists. She got to go. What in the world would you sue them for? |

This story is just stupid. Why is the USA full of so many grown up cry babies? (by the way, she is totally hot and I would ask her to sit in the jumpseat, and kick the jumpseater to the back) :)

When I first saw what she was wearing I, like a lot of you, said gmafb. Then I talked to some SAN station folks who gave me the rest of the story. By the time it aired on the West Coast, the lawyers obviously realized how culpable that made them look and edited the scene to show her not actually sitting down. Hmmmmmm. A picture from her now closed Myspace account. Pre-boobs apparently. Gosh, wonder why she closed the account? Or trust that our co workers have the sense to do their job, mostly better than we possibly could. |

For all you bashing the F/A's conduct based on a one sided news blurb, I guess the moral of the story is don't make axxinine statements without all the facts. So, is SWA policy to not let the Ho's fly anymore. Because if thats the case they should check the LAS to LAX flights on Sunday mornings. There are plenty of working girls getting on those flights. They are easy to pick out cause you can here them making that squishy sound when they walk by or check for the snail tracks through the concourse.

Speaking of hizzoes, On the bus this morning there was this sickly hot Brunette CAl F/A who had like 12 inch heels on and her skirt was soooo short , you could she was wearing thigh-highs, it was by far the sluttiest/sexiest/ most awesomeist thing I have ever witnessed.............:confused:

on the flip side. me and the wife flew up to RDU the other day in our own plane. as we taxied out, we passed a SWA jet and the pilot asked, on ground, what kind of airplane it was. he then commented on the "cute cargo" i had...ha.ha...
so i had my wife, in the most "girly" voice possible, say on ground, "thanks".....laughter erupted all over the freq..... i say that because it is CLEAR the pilots had nothing to do with kicking that skinny chick off the jet.....must have been the hag F/A... Jeff |

According to recent developments she had the skirt pulled way up and wasn't wearing any underwear, flashing the Beave to everyone on the plane and in the concourse.
If it were some kind of adult only flight then yeah, I wouldn't mind myself. But considering there were kids present that is kind of behavior is just ridiculous. And even if it were adult only, no way would she get away with that kind of crap. I personally find her lawsuit claim and her conduct in bashing SWA in the media to be disgusting. |

I had to fly to Dallas on Sunday. I wore cargos, a polo, and tennis shoes. As I was getting on the plane I asked the FA "I am not dressed too risque am I? I do not want to start a sex stampede"
As with EVERYONE I have ever encountered at SWA, she had a great sense of humor and laughed. That said, I am against SWA thowing moderately attractive trashy chicks off flights. The one great hope on SWA is that you will encounter someone like this, and they will sit next to you as opposed to the bubba I usually get. I also find it ironic that SWA, the airline of FA's in hotpants and miniskirts (1970's) and the catch phrase "come fly me" would now come out as the moral beacon of the airways. |
Seriously, I'm all for sitting next to hot chicks on airplanes. But come on! Full frontal nudity is a bit much is it not? And it wasn't just the FA that had a problem with her skirt. It was in fact the gate agents, and a lot of the other passengers from what I am hearing. Just because she can put a pair of underwear on and pull her skirt down when on T.V we all assume that the FA was just 'jealous', GMAFB.

Yeah - full frontal is probably a bit much...just a bit.
I am not familiar with the situation, because I was not there, but I have to go with my gut and side with the SWA FA's. I have never had one treat me in an unreasonable manner, and I have to assume that they are correct. If this were some of the legacy carriers, I would probably assume the passenger was in the right - but SWA usually treats people better. |
