Buddy of mine came up to visit for a few days from PR, where he's flying Eagle's ATRs.
While he was here, we went to Walmart and then FedEx/Kinkos, so he could buy plates, cups, towels, etc and ship it back to San Juan. He said that with the airline discount at FedEx, it's cheaper to do that than buy stuff in PR.
At least the rum is cheap.

Is there more time back at home in MIA since the destinations served from there only have the ATR going to or from MIA?

I am a current Eagle pilot who is resgning in a week. For our own sake forget about Eagle. Unless you wish to be a FO for a long time. Trust me there are many other opportunites out there that will provide you a faster path to a career. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. If any current Eagle employee tells you otherwise they are in it for the referal fee. This was the place to be when I was hired and now i wouldn't even reccomend it to my enemies. The crews are great but management sucks.
