Here's a few I know that the cost of living is not real high.
American Eagle: DFW Express Jet: IAH Colgan: IAH, TYR PSA: CLT, TYS Anyone who gets the opportunity to fly into Fredricksburg needs to do it. One of the best hotels there is is called the hangar hotel on property. Good times there. |

Skywest will have a base there early 08
I think it is likely that SKW will have an MCI base within 6 months, but I wouldn't come to work at SKW just for that reason until AFTER the official announcement. |

Actually IAH is somewhat expensive. But it worth it. You can't beat roadtrips in TX. From the Frio and Camal rivers to Austin's 6th street, New Braunfels beerfest, the beer drinking good times on the saltwater in the other direction, and tons of places like Fredricksburg. Also you can't beat having the mexican border there.

Good times there. in Houston the housing market is very cheap compared with most large US cities. Even comparable property in SDF and IND costs more than it would in IAH. Plus its very very very very very hot in Houston. |
