So, is there another forum for aspiring AWAC pilots?

wi_pilot, how did indoc go, what do we have to look foward to?

Do's, Don'ts, should's and must's. I'm all...eyes?

Do

Study
Know your limitations. Cold.
Study your profiles and callouts.
Be willing to learn

Don't

Have an attitude
Don't get to the sim without knowing your profiles and callouts.

Pretty basic stuff and I would think most companies are the same. Show up on time, work hard, show improvement and willingness to learn, etc.

Thanks.

I've seen that CRJStudy Guide online, is that recommended prior to showing up to indoc? Is there any free gouge out there?

I supposed it can't hurt to have some advance knowledge of the airplane, but it is not needed. AWAC has their own way of teaching systems and procedures and that will not be covered in some online CRJ study guide. Any other airline would be the same way.

Indoc is not about systems anyway.

There has been talk of changing the sequence of some of the training events, but when I went through we had two weeks of indoc, a week or so of systems and then a couple weeks of sim.

Indoc is about company procedures and rules and other dry stuff that'll mess you up a bit.

Frankly, I would read the FAR/AIM before coming to class if you read anything. Good knowledge in there.

OK sounds good. Thanks.
