I have been hearing that for 3+ years now. Seems like the warm bodies are still knocking on the door over there begging to fly their airplanes.

I hope I am wrong, but it seems like they will continue to survive.

well the only people who can and will decide the fate of Mesa is the major shareholders, and they will close the door once they can figure out how to squeeze every last penny out... i guess it could be soon, but i just dont think its as soon as everyone thinks. theyll be around for at least another year or two

I am sure their customer airlines are watching their situation as well. And surely the legal shenanigans of their Hawaii operation don't do them any favors.

Like everyone else, I'd like to see them shut down, but I am not sure it'll happen anytime soon.

I did have a jumpseater on recently who is Air Midwest (also part of Mesa) and he was getting junior-manned into an assignment and getting double time pay. So they really are short of bodies I guess.

So what's the latest and greatest on all these goings-on - I've been working too much and playing online too little.
Hopefully UAL will give us the Mesa flying out of O'Hare like they did (at least a little) over the summer....at least we won't have to be bothered with CRJs that have blue spray paint touch-ups on the nose.....what eyesores!!!

Yep - United isn't so much interested in the 50-seat Jets anymore...

XJet's books aren't public... so no one would know. Your sources prob made this up.

Yes hopefully Mesa DOES lose a codeshare.
