Skywest pilot: I was working for Jeremy Davis, Steve Hackla, and crew at PA.

Locomoco: Any openings at Hawaiian? Aloha? And it's a 6'7" Dan Taylor out at Kewalos Left into the channel (well, Haleiwa now that its winter).

Alaska Drifter: I already have a 121 FO position or a 135 CPT position at PenAir if I want it. I'm just debating whether I want it. And after all this, I think I've decided.

I'll go to the Jan interview for the Feb groundschool, based out of Dillingham 20 on 10 off, and live in PenAir supplied housing for free. I'll build my PIC time out there up to 4000 TT and try to upgrade into the ANC base 121 CPT position, then on to FedEx or UPS. Screw you Mesa!

Default Reality check

First off how many app's are on file at FDX right now? 25K, 20K (one of which is mine) whatever the number if that is your dream gig you need turb pic in a jet. Then heavy international time unless your friend is a chief pilot. Min's are just that Min's then there are competitive Min's in today's environment. Leave mesa but don't leave it for a turboprop gig flying a metro, saab etc. IMO that would be a serious step backwards.

Dillingham is a quaint lil' drinking town with a fishing problem. I don't know all of your qualifications, but if you have already been working in Alaska than you probably already have the 500hrs Ak time that is needed. I saw you have a 100 hours in a Cub, I bet that was fun. I am really missing my Taylorcraft back home right now!

Never mind the above dribble and yes leave mesa while you can AK would be fun challenging but fun.
