Why FO attrition and not CA?

Because the average CA at AE has 15+yrs seniority, 16-20days off/mo, $85-100k/yr. They have wives, kids, car/house/college to pay for and cant afford to go to any other airline. The FOs have to wait 7+yrs to upgrade, all the while making $30-35k when they can go any get hired at any other regional as a street CA or upgrade in 1-2yrs. It doesnt make sense to stay at AE as an FO.
