Quesadillas? Please explain.

Never tried it but the McGyver in me says get a tortilla, cover half with cheese, fold it over. Remove the glass pot and turn on the coffee maker so the warming plate gets hot. Put your tortilla on it and wait a few minutes, flip once to crisp both sides. Voila, a quesadilla.

Gotta agree with previous posters though. Unless its one of those coffee makers that brews one cup at a time, I don't touch em. Those things never get washed and I've heard enough stories about people washing their underwear, socks, sex toys, etc. in them.

Have you ever actually looked closely at those coffee makers? They aren't as clean as you might think....

You never take the soup outta the can. Just set it on the plate that keeps the coffee pot warm (metal side down) and turn it on. Wait until it's warm, stir, and enjoy. An FA showed this to me awhile ago.

is it hard to use? I tried using the one on my leatherman but I couldn't get the damn can open, lol. Maybe it takes skills

They open cans much easier than those leatherman/swiss army knife can openers. Just put the notch under the can lip and twist the cutter into the can. You can get them for about 25 cents a piece at an army surplus store. I have about 10 of them stored away somewhere. I am still on my first one I bought a couple years ago. They don't wear out very fast.

They are, but that's still quite a bit cheaper than eating in the airport. You can pick them up for around $1.50 each if you shop around. REI has a huge stock if you have one in twon. They're filling and good for you. Great for a meal replacement.

I think you can get them for 99 cents at target. I'm a fan of vanilla crisp powerbars...they are pretty good, chocolate powerbars are nasty

This is a huge relief for me. I worked very hard to lose 50 pounds since January, and have managed to keep my new weight fairly stable for the last two and a half months. I was worried that the lifestyle of an FO may not be conducive to keeping the weight off.

It's not. You're definitely going to have to work at it on the road.

Me? I like to go to Walmart or some place that has a frozen food section and get..........T.V. Dinners on my overnight. For as little as 98 cents I can eat like a King, since I'm not paid like one.

Flat foil tuna packs, Zatarain's packs, Hormel meals, campbell's select soups, and the latest, Taco Bell meals.

They all don't need to be refridgerated. Most hotels have a microwave somewhere, even if it's in the employee lounge. If you call the front desk they'll let you use it. For breakfast, I eat instant oatmeal or Smart Start bars. The strawberry vanilla ones are delicious and high in fiber.

For snacks I pack 100 calorie snack packs. I take enough food to last the whole trip. It all fits in my roll-aboard without the need for refridgeration or another bag. I can live for under $10/day and only eat out when I choose. Also managed to lose 30 pounds over the past year just by eating measured portions of these meals. They're not even diet!

But what on earth are you refering to with the coffee makers? I know I'm knew, but that sounds like an urban legend.

Nah man that is no urban legend. FA's wash their stockings in there all the time. I don't go near those nasty contraptions.
