Well the secrets out. We've all been forking over $15K but were so ashamed we didn't want anyone to know so it's been the largest secret ever kept in the aviation industry...ever.

The "Promissary Note" is the portion of the training contract stating the amount and how it would be paid back should you leave before two years. If you read it, it's pretty self-explanatory. If you read too much into it...well...
